Invitation to Ukraine

According to the current Ukrainian legislation, foreign individuals (except for the citizens of the EU, Canada, the USA, the CIS and several other countries who come to Ukraine for a period of up to 90 days) need to get a Ukrainian visa to enter Ukraine.

Applying for a Ukrainian visa (e.g. tourist, private, business), in its turn, requires filing with a respective Ukrainian consulate authority of a set of documents, which includes an invitation letter to Ukraine to be issued by the inviting Ukrainian party (agency, individual or business entity). Please note that such invitation letters must be registered with the local Ukrainian state department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (the so-called OVIR) or with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (in case of tourist invitation letters).
